Golden Goose Apex Imaging was founded by a small team of Commercial Roofing installers who were frustrated with the wasteful methods of large roofing companies that would only present to building owners the method of tearing off the entire roofing system, when a coating would be sufficient. They were excited to know that a roofing system could often be saved by restoring the top most layer, which eventually breaks down due to UV rays, and that with a Silicone coating, the roof could safely be warrantied by the manufacturer for the same term as a completely new system, with warranties of up to 30 years. This amounted to less man hours, less new materials used, and less garbage in the landfill. The warranty typically requires that the manufacturer have good evidence that the existing roofing system did not already have water intrusion inside, so they would not assume that liability. One of the most efficient methods of eliminating the possibility of water intrusion in the system is with a Thermal Scan. So they became drone pilots, studied thermography, and set out to help detect and repair leaks in the most valuable buildings in our community.
